Certificates and assessments of optical beam sources
The installation and operation of laser equipment in the medical and industrial sectors requires a special qualification of the personnel, as well as individual spatial protection measures according to the standard series EN 60825.
Even if no laser radiation is used, measurement and assessment of personal exposure to incoherent optical radiation in accordance with the EN 14255 series of standards may be necessary.
In addition to training as a laser safety officer, MLL GmbH carries out evaluations of coherent and incoherent light sources in accordance with the current guidelines and standards and provides expert opinions on existing or planned uses of optical beam sources.
