The Foundation for “Innovative Zahnmedizin” awards the “Dental Innovation Award 2018” in the category “Innovative Idea / Invention” to the Dental-OCT project group. Within a project funded by the AiF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft innovative Forschung), the project group consisting of the Medical Laser Center Lübeck, the Poliklinik für Zahnerhaltung und Parodontologie des Universitätsklinikum Leipzig AöR and Orange Dental GmbH realized an intraoral OCT probe to improve the restorative caries treatment. The prize was awarded to the winners at the annual meeting of the “Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zahnerhaltung”. The award of € 3,500 will be split to the project team members.
