For his outstanding bachelor thesis “Leistungsgesteuerte temperaturüberwachte Lasertherapie der Netzhaut mittels adaptiv robuster H-Unendlich-Regelung”, Ole Thomsen receives the Innovation Award 2018 of the “Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Krankenhaustechnik” (WGKT e.V.). Ole Thomsen presented the gist of his work at the conference “TK 2018
Technik im Krankenhaus” held from September 11th to 12th, 2018, in Hannover. His supervisors Dr.-Ing Christian Herzog (Institute for Electrical Engineering in Medicine at the University of Lübeck) and Dr. rer. nat. Ralf Brinkmann (Medical Laser Center Lübeck) congratulate Ole Thomsen for the enduring recognition of his work on the automated laser therapy of the retina. The award of € 5.000 is split in half between Ole Thomsen and the contributing institutes.
